De Leon has a special interest and training in peripheral vascular disease, coronary and structural interventions as well as chronic occlusion, echocardiogram and nuclear cardiology. He believes patients appreciate that he is genuine, dependable and provides care with integrity - his patients always come first. De Leon treats his patients as he would his own family. Cardiology has become more than his career it is his true passion. After countless hours studying this specialty, he was positive his future in cardiology would be an extremely fulfilling endeavor. His passion for cardiology was further fueled in medical school. Upon learning this, he was inspired to work in medicine and help those dealing with heart disease. Later, he discovered her brothers and sisters also died of cardiovascular-related diseases. He learned from his parents she died of a heart problem. De Leon's grandmother died rather unexpectedly when he was seven years old, he had to know why.
